Interested in becoming a member of the WSU President's Commission on the Status of Women? Complete the application below.

Please note that Commission members must attend bi-monthly meetings, which take place from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every other month, and serve on at least one of the standing committees. (See committee descriptions below.)

WSU President's Commission on the Status of Women
Standing Committees

The Career Development Committee concerns itself with developing projects and presenting programs that enhance women's professional development and career advancement.

The Gender and Equity Committee addresses issues related to the current status of gender and equity in the campus community.

The mission of the Health and Wellness Committee is to provide education and support pertaining to physical and mental health issues affecting women.

The Information and Research Committee examines women’s standing in the university community and provides informational support for issues of concern.

The Social Justice Committee collaborates with the campus community to host events that support the Commission’s work.

The Public Relations and Marketing Committee maintains the Commission’s website and markets the COSW, its projects and events to the WSU campus and surrounding community.
