Russia: Month in Moscow - WSU Guest Participant

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Month in Moscow Study Abroad Program (May 31 - July 1, 2017)In order to be considered for participation, you must complete the following:

  • Submit a $50 application fee made payable via "Pay Fees" tab on studyabroad.wayne.edu or by clicking here (attach receipt below).
  • Attach a passport copy*
  • Submit this application
*If you do not have a valid passport, you must submit a memo including the date that you applied for your passport and the expected arrival date. To apply for a passport, click here

Please note: your application will not be processed until you have submitted all the documents and application fee. 

*Passport must be valid until October 1, 2018*

Travel Experience

Orientation

Prior to departure, each student will be required to participate in a Pre-Departure Orientation. This orientation is MANDATORY. Participants will not be allowed on the program until they have completed the orientation. The date and time will be determined based on participant availability. Please check with your University's Study Abroad Office for more information regarding this and other institutional requirements.

Payment, Deposit and Refund Policies

Program Fee: $5,005 which does not include tuition, meals, personal expenses, passport and processing fees.

Program Deposit: The non-refundable program deposit of $505 is due by January 19, 2017.

The remaining balance is due in three equal payments of $1,500 by the following dates: 02/16/2017, 03/16/2017, 04/20/2017.

Withdrawal Policy: Withdrawals must be submitted in writing.

Refund Policy:

If participant withdraws 90 days or more before the start of the program, they will be refunded 75% of program fees less $505 non-refundable deposit.

If participant withdraws 60-89 days before the start of the program, they will be refunded 50% of program fees less $505 non-refundable deposit.

If participant withdraws 1-59 days before the start of the program, all payments are non-refundable.

Payment, Deposit, and Refund Policy Agreement

I have read and understand the Payment, Deposit and Refund Policies as listed above. I understand that I will be notified of my acceptance by an e-mail sent from the Office of Study Abroad and Global Programs that will be sent to the e-mail address I provided on my application. I also understand my acceptance e-mail will include a Program Acceptance Form that I must return within two weeks from the date of my acceptance letter or I will be withdrawn from the program, and agree to adhere to the parameters of the program as outlines by the Office of Study Abroad and Global Programs. I understand that in order to secure my place in the program, a $505 non-refundable deposit is due by January 19, 2017. I understand that program fees may change due to unexpected increases in airline surcharges. If this occurs, I understand that those fees will be passed on to me.

Release of Student Information

During the course of the student's participation in a study abroad program, the Office of Study Abroad and Global Programs may wish to provide relevant information from the student's educational records to the student's parents or other third parties. Depending on circumstances, information to be released might include student account information, information about the program in which the student is enrolled, or non-emergency information related to the student's health or safety.
