Special Education Endowment Fund

Purpose: The purpose of this fund it to encourage the advancement of the professional preparation of special education teachers and other service personnel working with the several areas of exceptionality served by those associated with this training program within the College of Education. SPE funds are used to provide financial assistance through scholarship/grant, programming, endowments, or professional support.

Timeline:

  1. Applications due to the Dean by August 1. All applications will be forwarded to the designated Special Education staff member, which will review application(s) by October 1 and provide a decision by November 1.
  2. Events will take place within a year from the decision date.
  3. Applications will include a program description and estimated budget for the event.

Funding Minimum:

$2,500 per year (exceptions may apply if funding is available)
