Dr. Silas Norman Tribute

Dr. Silas Norman, Jr., as Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine, was appointed Assistant Dean for Admissions in 2003, and Associate Dean for Admissions, Diversity and Inclusion in 2010.  Dr. Norman graduated from the School of Medicine in 1976, Engaged in every aspect of WSU SOM life, Dr. Norman was the recipient of substantial awards as a result of his countless contributions to society, especially the underserved.  He died on July 17, 2015.

A program featuring select colleagues, students, friends and the Brazeal Dennard Chorale will begin at 5:30 on April 28 in the Shiffman Library atrium.  

We hope you join us in honoring the life of Dr. Silas Norman, Jr. All are welcome to attend.  Light refreshments served.
