WSU SOM Sesquicentennial Symposia - Wayne State University

The WSU SOM Sesquicentennial Planning Committee has established a Symposia Task Force to plan two to three Symposia in celebration of our School’s 150^th anniversary. The Task Force would like to prioritize the inclusion of WSU SOM alumni (medical and graduate students, residents, former faculty) as symposia speakers. Our goal is to highlight the distinguished accomplishments of our past trainees, and in doing so to further energize our alumni base.

This survey is designed to gain input from departmental leaders and faculty in identifying alumni from your respective programs who:

may be nationally recognized in their field of science,
have made a great impact at WSU, and
would attract a wide audience.

From your suggestions, we seek to cluster prospective talks into thematic areas of content or identify noteworthy alum and past faculty, which could be featured in a publication or in other ways by our Marketing and Communications team as we celebrate our School’s Sesquicentennial in 2018.
