Call for Abstracts – Poster Presentations

The Frontiers in Molecular and Functional Imaging Symposium and Molecular Imaging Program Annual Retreat is a public event on Friday, October 20th that will feature presentations by experts in imaging field.  The event's poster competition will highlight the innovative research being conducted by the Wayne State University College of Engineering and Karmanos Cancer Institute student community.

Graduate students, residents and fellows may submit abstracts on the topic of "Frontiers in Molecular and Functional Imaging" (only one as presenting author) that have not been previously published, or that have been presented within the previous 12 months.   Potential topics include research in the areas of CT, MR, PET, SPECT, MEG, EEG, optical imaging, and ultrasound.  The deadline to submit abstracts has been extended to Monday, October 9 at 11:59 p.m.  

Not all abstracts will be selected for poster presentation at the event.  Authors of selected abstracts must present their work on a 36” W by 24” H foam core mounted poster and be present at the event on October 20th between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. 

First place poster - $100, Second place poster - $50, Third place poster - $25
