Social Media Ambassador

Wayne State University Alumni Association Social Media Influencers are the ambassadors to the Alumni Association's social media accounts for Giving Day. By posting approved photos and messages to their personal accounts, they encourage others in the WSU community to engage with the university, and cast a wider net in spreading the word about Wayne State Giving Day. Most importantly, ambassadors are excited to show and be recognized for their Warrior Pride!

Influencer Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must be affiliated with Wayne State (staff, faculty, alumnus/alumna, student).
  • Must be active on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter social media platforms.
  • Personal account must have past content deemed appropriate by the Alumni Association.
  • Commitment to Giving Day posting activity as Social Media Influencer.

Influencer Responsibilities

  • Follow the Wayne State University Alumni Association on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and subscribe to feed updates and/or regularly check for new posts.
  • Post at least once or twice a week on all active accounts with messaging provided by Alumni Association, and tag us (@waynestatealum) in these posts.
  • Post additional messages/images for Giving Day.
  • Adhere to all rules laid out in Social Media policy.
  • Show off your Warrior Pride in your own voice, and have fun!
