WSU Catering Services provides food, beverages and services and is the designated caterer for all functions held on campus. Food waivers are not required for food/beverage for events totaling $1,000 or less as long as the event organizer is utilizing an approved local campus vendor. Building/location guidelines and purchasing guidelines for WSU affiliated groups or departments still apply. Jeffress Center and Macomb Center are exempt from this policy.
Waiver requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the date of the event. If the request is approved by 313 Dining Co then a second step must be completed with the WSU campus food safety officer to approve the external food service provider.
Requests submitted on or after the event date will not be reviewed.
