EAA Committee Interest

The Excellence in Academic Advising (EAA) initiative will provide WSU with an opportunity to conduct a systemic and holistic self-study of academic advising focused on a set of nine aspirational standards, or "Conditions of Excellence in Academic Advising."  The nine conditions are described in detail on the WSU EAA webpage and include the following:

  • Institutional Commitment
  • Learning
  • Advisor Selection and Development
  • Improvement of the Scholarship of Advising
  • Collaboration and Communication
  • Organization
  • Student Purposes and Pathways
  • Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity
  • Technology-Enabled Advising

The Steering Committee welcomes any faculty or staff to submit their interest to serve on one of the Conditions Committees by submitting the form below. Conditions Committees will begin meeting around April 2020 and should conclude their work in August 2023. Any questions regarding EAA or committee selection can contact the WSU's EAA Liaisons:

Cheryl Kollin, Sr. Director, University Advising Center
