CFPCA Reinstatement Application

Note: All account balances must be paid and financial holds cleared for full consideration of reinstatement or appeal.

The goal of reinstatement is to create a viable pathway to graduation, which requires at least a 2.0 in the major and a 2.0 overall GPA.

Students currently excluded may appeal for reinstatement to the College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts (CFPCA) after not attending classes at Wayne State University for one calendar year. Dismissed students may apply for reinstatement the semester before their 12 month dismissal period is up, to allow for a decision to be made by the reinstatement committee.

Not all students who have been excluded will be reinstated. Each reinstatement case is considered individually by the committee.
