Requirements of the Honors Program:

1. Students must be admitted to the School of Social Work

2. Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5

3. Students must take at least one HON 42xx interdepartmental Honors seminar (3cr)

4. Students must take 9 credits of Honors Option from the SW program (3 classes at 3cr each)

5. Students must submit an Honors Option thesis consisting of a minimum 20 page research paper supervised by a faculty member of the student’s choosing. This is typically accomplished in the last semester before graduation, and may be in conjunction with SW 4997 Integrative Seminar capstone course.
