Thank you for your interest in conference and event space at Wayne State University. Wayne State is a premier research university located in the University Cultural Center in the heart of Detroit's Midtown neighborhood. It's a great place to live, work and play.

The Student Center & Campus Reservations team is prepared to assist you plan your conference or event on the beautiful Wayne State University campus.  By completing this form, we will be able to advise you in the best way possible when it comes to planning your campus program.  This form is for non-affiliated WSU individuals, groups and organizations.  All reservation requests remain pending until a formal contract is signed and deposit is received.

Student Center: Located in the center of campus, the Student Center is the "living room" of the campus. The Student Center provides a comfortable facility that meets the recreational, relaxation, dining, programming and meeting needs of the campus and community.
STEM Innovation Learning Center: A signature component of the campus, SILC was built with an emphasis on technology-rich, collaboration, science-on-display spaces. SILC includes almost 10,000 square feet of flexible classrooms, a maker space and other components that makes it a hub for outreach and programming.
McGregor Memorial Conference Center: Completed in 1958 by renowned architect Minoru Yamaski, the two-story center is a highly sculptured building with meeting rooms and reception space that overlook an atrium accented by free-standing columns. It has spacious meeting rooms, views of campus, a reflecting pond and sculpture garden.
St. Andrew's Hall: The site of a former Episcopal Church, St. Andrew's Hall is a beautiful stone structure with stained glass windows. It is suitable for banquets, weddings and other occasions.
Community Arts Auditorium: A spacious venue with theater style seating for 560 guests. CAA also has a projection booth along with updated audio, lighting and acoustical systems. Behind stage are a number of dressing rooms. The lobby area is generous and includes a 3,400 square foot exhibit gallery.

Parking

The Parking and Transportation Services department has the responsibility to provide well-maintained, safe parking facilities and transportation for employees, students and visitors. The present parking system is comprised of 8 structures and 26 surface lots.

Dining/Catering

Dining Services strives to operate at the highest quality, maximizing the services to a diverse student, faculty, and staff base and the surrounding community. In addition to the all you care to eat dining in Towers Cafe, WSU Dining Services operates a number of satellite and franchise locations across the main and medical school campus, and the exclusive operation of campus catering services.
