Wayne Law is seeking lawyers and members of the judiciary for its annual Professionalism in Action event for first-year law students. This in person event will occur on Monday, October 30, 2023, from 4:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. at Wayne State University's Student Center.
Professionalism in Action provides an opportunity for interaction between first-year law students, practicing attorneys, and judiciary members for the purpose of reinforcing the importance of ethics and professionalism in the practice of law. Volunteers will facilitate small group discussions of pre-selected hypothetical scenarios concerning ethical and professional dilemmas. Volunteers are also invited to share information regarding their career paths and roles in the legal community.
