The Rushton Journal of Undergraduate Humanities Research is an annual interdisciplinary journal that publishes outstanding undergraduate scholarship. Edited by Wayne State students, the Rushton Journal aims to build intellectual community and enhance the undergraduate experience at Wayne State. The journal welcomes submissions of scholarly work from WSU undergraduates in the humanities and related fields, such as African American studies, anthropology, art history, communication, English, foreign languages, history and philosophy.
Call for submissions for volume two
While submissions may be focused on any topic relevant to the humanities and related fields, journal editors for volume two will be particularly interested in papers that explore the idea, emotion and state of joy or joyfulness, especially as it is manifest and experienced from and within a community.
