Join us for a community engagement collaboration between the College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts and The Shepherd!
This 2.5-hour session will help you learn how to take your old items from Trash to Upcycled Treasures. We’ve got a project for various skill levels; whether you are a creative guru or new to the do-it-yourself world of repurposing old clothes. You will take the first steps toward making more environmentally friendly fashion choices while reimagining your old items with one of the projects below.
- T-shirt Rug, ages 10+ – materials needed, 6 to 8 old t-shirts (L-XL)
- Sweater Pet Bed – materials needed, one old sweater (M or larger)
- Infinity Scarf – materials needed, 4-5 old t-shirts (L-XL)
- Headband - 1-2 old t-shirts
- Flower pins - 1 old t-shirt

Space is limited to 20 participants for each session. You will recieve an email confirmation once each session has been finalized.
