WSU College of Nursing will provide liability insurance through Nursing Practice Corporation at a cost of ($10.29) for all students except for Midwifery students. Coverage is through the academic year (August 15 – August 14) regardless of when you begin clinicals. Students who begin clinicals in the Spring/Summer will be required to pay two academic years.

An option for Midwifery students is Contemporary Insurance Services.  The annual cost for the insurance at Contemporary is $500 (plus tax) and you can apply online at http://www.cisinsurance.com/About/contact.cfm.
